Kathmandu<\/strong> \u2013 Commercial banks in Nepal have released updated interest rates for individual term deposits for the month of Jestha. While most banks have kept their rates unchanged, a few have made slight adjustments either upward or downward.<\/p>\n

Key Points:<\/strong><\/p>\n

14 commercial banks have maintained the same interest rates as in Baisakh.<\/p>\n

3 banks \u2014 Nepal Bank, Everest Bank, and Sanima Bank \u2014 have slightly increased their rates.<\/p>\n

3 banks \u2014 Nepal Investment Mega Bank, Kumari Bank, and Siddhartha Bank \u2014 have reduced their rates.<\/p>\n

The average maximum interest rate on individual term deposits has decreased from 5.979% in Baisakh to 5.952% in Jestha.<\/p>\n

Nepal Bank offers the lowest interest rate at 5.45%.<\/p>\n

Everest Bank offers the highest interest rate at 6.64%.<\/p>\n
