The recognition was jointly presented by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Indira Rana, Member of Parliament Ganesh Parajuli, Online TV Journalists\u2019 Association President Jivan Bhandari, News Express Media Chairman Milan Singh Pariyar, and Managing Director Jivan Adhikari.<\/p>\n<p>Originally from Rampur, Belka Municipality\u20139 in Udayapur, Kunwar has been associated with Shilapatra.com for the past five years, currently serving as the Head of the Creative Bureau. Known for focusing on non-political themes, Kunwar has consistently used multimedia content to raise awareness and advocate for ethical standards, particularly warning content creators on YouTube about adherence to journalistic codes of conduct.<\/p>\n<p>He has gained acclaim for his unique digital segments, including:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFarko Pato\u201d \u2013 A series portraying dual perspectives of public figures<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhotokar\u201d \u2013 Biographical features on Nepali photojournalists<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaptahaka Cartoonist\u201d \u2013 A column spotlighting under-recognized cartoonists<\/p>\n<p>Kunwar\u2019s work has particularly highlighted issues affecting children, minority communities, and underrepresented voices in media, making him a notable advocate for socially conscious journalism.<\/p>\n<p>During the same event, veteran journalist Harihar Birahi was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
