According to the Office of the Controller of Examinations (Grade 10) under the National Examination Board, the exams started simultaneously nationwide at 8:00 AM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">On the first day, students are appearing for the compulsory English examination. The SEE will continue until April 11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Examination Controller Tuka Raj Adhikari stated that a total of 512,421 students had filled out the SEE examination forms this year. Among them, 441,566 are regular candidates, while 70,855 are appearing for grade improvement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The number of female candidates is higher this year, with 257,613 female students, 254,801 male students, and seven others participating in the examination. Additionally, 23 students are taking the exam from a center in Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The National Examination Board has announced that answer sheets will be checked at the respective examination centers, and results will be published within one month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">A total of 1,966 examination centers have been designated across the country. For security and management, each center has been assigned 15 police personnel, one chief superintendent, one assistant superintendent, one invigilator for every 20 students, one office assistant for every 100 students, and two additional staff members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">This year, collective monitoring of examination centers has been prohibited. The decision was made following complaints that the presence of representatives from various organizations in exam halls disrupted students during their exams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">For monitoring purposes, a committee has been formed in each district under the coordination of the Chief District Officer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Following the English exam today, the schedule continues with compulsory Nepali on April 2, compulsory Mathematics on April 4, Science on April 5, and Social Studies on April 6.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Examinations for optional first papers will be held on April 7, optional second papers on April 8, and remaining subjects under the technical stream will be conducted from April 9 to April 11.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Himal Hub \/\u00a0 The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has begun across Nepal from today.
