Kathmandu – Durga Prasad Humagain has been elected unopposed as the Governor of Lions International, District 325 K Nepal. The third national convention, held in Pokhara, selected the communications entrepreneur Humagain as the District Governor. A young entrepreneur and social figure, Humagain is the publisher of *Safal Awaj Dotcom*, Executive Director of *Safal Biz Link*, and Chairperson of *Safal Media House Pvt. Ltd.* He has been elected as the District Governor for the Lions year 2025–26.
Lion Leader Humagain, now District Governor-elect, has been actively involved in Lions for the past 19 years. Born 45 years ago in Kushadevi, Kavre District, he has lived in Pokhara for the past 23 years. He is also a former president of the Lions Club of Pokhara Peace Chautari.
Similarly, for the Lions year 2025–26, Ramesh Adhikari has been elected as First Vice District Governor and Bishnuhari Fuyal as Second Vice District Governor.
Governor-elect Humagain has appointed Triza Dhakal as District Cabinet Secretary, Ramkumar Lamichhane as District Treasurer, Tikaram Sapkota as District Chief Advisor, Shailendra Dahal as District Chief PRO, and Hasan Kumar Gopali as District Chief Administrator for the 2025–26 term.
Meanwhile, during the convention chaired by current Governor Lion Nira Bajracharya of Lions International, District 325 K Nepal, newly elected Governor Humagain and First Lady Sarita Dahal Humagain expressed their gratitude to senior Lion leaders and all voting Lions.
