A Grand Celebration of Indigenous Wisdom The third edition of the Nepal International Theatre Festival (NITFest) was held from March 19 to 27, 2025, in Kathmandu. Organized by Mandala Theatre-Nepal, the festival embraced the theme “Theatre for Social Transformation: Light of Indigenous Wisdom.” It showcased 17 plays from 12 countries, including Nepal, China, Iran, Tunisia, and Japan. The event featured a diverse array of performances, poetry recitals, music, dance, and cultural programs, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and celebrating indigenous narratives.
