From March 22 to 25, 2025, Pokhara hosted its own International Theatre Festival in collaboration with NITFest. The event featured six plays from five countries: Nepal, China, Tunisia, Norway, and Japan. Highlights included a unique rendition of “Muna Madan” by Pokhara Theatre and Japan’s “Master Soko and Margarita.” The festival also offered workshops, cultural exhibitions, and musical performances, aiming to establish Pokhara as a hub for cultural tourism.
