Himal Hub/In a zero-hour session of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly, 10 provincial assembly members suggested that the provincial government take diplomatic initiatives in coordination with the federal government to cancel the Lipulekh agreement.
Members from both the ruling and opposition parties noted that Indian activities in the Lipulekh, Kalapani, and Gunji areas could pose a challenge to Nepal’s sovereignty and demanded that the provincial assembly pass a resolution to support the federal government.
