Himal Hub / Gold prices witnessed a sharp drop in the domestic market on Monday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold fell by Rs 3,000 per tola, bringing it down to Rs 302,800 per tola. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 305,800 per tola.
Silver prices also followed a downward trend. The price of silver declined by Rs 125 per tola and is now fixed at Rs 4,860 per tola, compared to Rs 4,985 per tola on Sunday.
The latest drop comes after a period of significant fluctuations in the precious metals market, closely watched by traders and consumers alike.
