Iran sent a proposal through Pakistan to the States to end the war forever.

Himal Hub / According to the international media spokesperson, after nearly two weeks of carefully reviewing a 15-point proposal from the United States, Iran’s leadership has put forward a new peace proposal through Pakistan. The proposal aims to bring the ongoing conflict between Iran, the U.S., and Israel to a permanent end. Iran’s state news agency IRNA also confirmed that the message was delivered via Pakistan.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump had set a Tuesday deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, warning that failure to do so would result in attacks on Iran’s power plants and bridges. Just a day before that deadline expired, Iran issued its proposal, signaling a willingness to end the war for good.

On April 6, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei confirmed that messages had been exchanged through intermediaries. However, he stated that Tehran had rejected the U.S. 15-point plan. According to IRNA, Iran’s 10-point response dismisses the idea of a ceasefire, citing past experiences, and instead emphasizes the need for a long-term solution on its own terms.

The report adds that Iran’s proposed framework includes ending regional conflicts, ensuring safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, supporting reconstruction efforts, and lifting sanctions.
