Traffic Resumes on Flood-Damaged Galchhi–Betrawati Road Section

A new track has been opened along the flood-damaged Galchhi–Betrawati road section in Rasuwa, allowing public transportation and other vehicles to resume movement along the route.

Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal said that vehicular movement has resumed following the opening of the track.

According to the minister’s secretariat, the road section serves as a major road link connecting Rasuwa with other parts of the country. Although the track has been opened, further work, including road grading and graveling, remains to be completed.

Minister Lamsal has urged the public and concerned stakeholders to facilitate the ongoing construction and maintenance work. He said heavy traffic while road improvement works are underway is affecting the pace of construction and requested everyone to cooperate to ensure the work can proceed smoothly.
